From 2012 to 2013

Happy New Year! I wish everyone a great year! I cannot believe that 2012 just swung by my life and it came to the end suddenly. If I have to conclude the entire year in 2 words, I would say “BUSYNESS” and “RELAXATION”
In first half of 2012, I would say I have the BUSIEST semester that I have ever had in my college year. At that time, I realised that I did not want to stay in California anymore. I was thinking, “Considering myself as an international student in the states, if I have a chance to transfer to a university to continue my adventure, why should I stay in California?” While other students were thinking of applying Cal State (California State University) or UC (University of California), I was busy on applying universities from other states.
During my final semester in my junior college, I still had 6 courses 18 credits (2 courses 8 credits were Honour courses). In the meanwhile, I had to keep on contacting the universities regarding to the specific requirements and documents. All in all, I had a really stressful semester and thanks God that it ended finally.
After a fun yet short summer season, my mum reached Los Angeles. I said “bye-bye” to my beloved California with no regrets and flew to New York afterwards.
In second half of 2012, i would say I have the most RELAXING semester that I have ever had in my college year. Although I had 16 credits, I could not believe that I only needed to attend 6 classes per week. But this is not the most surprising part. The most surprising part is I just needed to go to school 3 days a week! Cool huh?
Well just because I had the most relaxing semester, it did not mean I had the funnest semester. I have to say that Buffalo, NY is a boring town actually. There is not many things to do in Buffalo. So I guess that’s why I went to school like everyday to meet people around me.
Of course, apart from school-related stuffs, I went travelling as well! Last year Christmas I travelled to New York City with a quirky girl, a k-pop fanatic and a random what-so-ever Korean guy. Even though I spent only 10 days in NYC, I had the funnest moment in NYS, like sightseeing, eating good food (as a matter of fact it is the most important part in our journey), vintage-and-indie hunting and that’s about it!
2013…Hmm I hope I could get everything done this year. About New Year’s resolution…frankly, I still do not have idea. My beloved Japanese friend told me that my New Year’s resolution is “MAKE A GF”. I have no comment about that but at the same time I wonder, “How come my Japanese friend is so cute?” (I am not talking about her appearance haha)
Enough talking my 2012 and 2013. How would you conclude your 2012? What do you expect for 2013? Again, I will continue sharing my own stuffs, being a direct person and more importantly shopping online with no cost in half year!
